Natural fibers and synthetic fibers contain primary impurities that are contained naturally, and secondary impurities that are added during weaving processes.
Pretreatment processes include desizing, scouring, and bleaching where these impurities are removed, to make subsequent dyeing and softening processes easy. Uneven desizing, scouring, and bleaching in the pretreatment processes might cause drastic deterioration in the qualities of completed products, such as uneven dyeing and decrease in fastness. RAKUTO KASEI would like to emphasize the following.
"Don't talk about fibers without knowing pretreatment processes!".
This course was made to present as many examples of pretreatment processes as possible for manufacturing better products, based on years of our experiences and accomplishments. We hope this course will be helpful for you.
